(St. Joseph)
After two long road trips at Marshall and Harper Creek to begin the

Bears blew out the Niles Vikings 48-0 in the Big 16 West Division opener

needed two plays to add to the Vikings misery. Jamaal Jackson broke
loose on for a 62 yard run down to the Niles 1 yard line. After an
illegal procedure penalty backed it up to the 6. Jackson finished what
he started as he scored his second TD of the game. The Bears held a 21-0
lead
Niles would be forced to punt again after a 3 and out St. Joe would
again get the ball back and find the endzone 6 plays later on a 7 yard
touchdown run to give the Bears a 27-0 lead.

Aaron Davis fumbled the ensuing kickoff, which was recovered by St. Joe
at the Niles 21 yard line. Four plays later Jeremy Rush had his second
straight touchdown run and the Bears held a 34-0 lead going into
halftime.
St. Joe would start the running clock late in the third quarter as
Jamaal Jackson went on a 56 yard sprint to the endzone and St. Joe
increased the lead to 41-0.
As the fourth quarter continued, St. Joe coach Elliot Uzelac started
clearing the benches and Senior QB Sean Guinane saw his first action of
the season, Guinane missed the first two games of the season because of
illness. Guinane threw two passes and completed one in his short time,
Late in the fourth quarter, the Bears would finish off the scoring with
