(St. Joseph) -- Four St. Joe seniors signed their national letters of
intent to continue their football playing careers next season. All
four of the Bear players will be playing in the same conference as TI
Michael Carter will play at Hillsdale, QB Sean Guinane will play at
Wayne State, CB Devonte Jones will play at Grand Valley, and RB Jamaal
Jackson will play at Ferris State. More to come

season are already underway, plus some changes are in store for the

Football Parents Meeting – January 25th 7:00 pm – SJHS Auditorium
Coach Uzelac and staff will hold a mandatory meeting for all parents of
incoming Freshman, Junior Varsity and Varsity players for the 2010
football season. Coach U would also like to invite parents of graduating
Seniors to the meeting to discuss exciting plans for football alumni.
Important information will be distributed such as summer workout
schedules including dead weeks so you can plan family vacations,
practice and game schedules and program expectations. Please make sure
at least one parent attends the meeting. GO BEARS!

Seasons and Conference Titles
This
year marks the anniversaries of 2 outstanding seasons in St. Joe Football
History. In 2009 we'll celebrate, the 35th Anniversary of St. Joe's
1974 Big 8 Conference championship.
We also celebrate the 25th anniversary of 1984 St. Joe Bears, who won
the 1984 Big 8 Conference title as well as a perfect regular season
record, going 9-0 during the season.
